READING COMPETITON 2019.

This the first year of the Screen Your Story competition and we are delighted with the way it’s gone. Young hopefuls came to St. Mary’s Church to read in front of a panel of judges who were so impressed by their efforts and their courage in putting themselves on the line.

The following have been selected to go through to the final to be held on June 3rd at the OSO Arts Centre, Barnes Green.

The winner of each group will be decided and they will be invited to the Screen Your Story Gala on June 30th to be presented with their awards.

Our host for the evening will be actor and writer Robert Blackwood.

Robert is renowned for his critically acclaimed, five-star ‘Gin Chronicles’ and for being the calmest, wittiest events host you could wish for.
